Carlos has had a brilliant performance as manager of a transnational company subsidiary. After eight years, he grows tired and resigns. The global managers don't let him leave and offer him Latin America's management. Carlos faces the dilemma of accepting or declining the offer. He recognizes he has managerial qualities and that he does things well, but he claims it has a high cost: his health is resenting the high effort. The case allows to stablish a dialogue about stress between medicine, psychology and philosophy. The diagnosis gives Carlos elements to take a mature decision.
