The Serviazgo project had been a fundamental element in making Compartamos Banco one of the best places to work in Mexico. In the words of Carlos Labarthe, co-president of the bank, it had been “a practical, effective and useful tool; an effective and powerful model that helps in the personal work of training better people and better collaborators.” Mancillas wondered if the Serviazgo project could work outside of Compartamos Banco.
